How to Get Favicon From a Web Page Easily Posted: 26 Feb 2010 05:10 AM PST Last month I created my own toolbar using Conduit service, Conduit is a website that provides free service to create your own toolbar, you can see the toolbar that I created here, you can download and install it on your browser if you want. The toolbar that I created provides simple things which is shortcuts to some popular websites like Facebook, Friendster and Twitter. What I want to share on this post is a website service that was helped me while I'm creating shortcuts for that toolbar, as you can see on my toobar all of the shortcuts not just a text link, its also has favicon on it. A website that I use to get favicon from a web page when I created my toolbar is named GetFavicon, to get the favicon you just need to enter the URL of the web page, click the button and then save the favicon file to your computer, it's so easy.
